Ed Sandor fell in love with audio production over 35 years ago. As a musician with strong interests in technology and recording, it was natural for him to immerse himself in the art of audio engineering. This led to the building and operating of his own commercial recording studios and rehearsal facilities in Central California. His experience made him a valued producer and Ed served as an independent producer and audio engineer for a number of record labels during the late 80s and early 90s. By 1993 he had established a live sound division.
The live performance industry began to experience a change in the late 90s with more groups settling down into their own permanent theatres. While these new venues sprang up all over the country, the hottest real estate for live performers was in Branson, Missouri.
Over the last 35 years Ed has engineered some of the highest profile live productions in the industry for concerts, theatrical performances, worship, and corporate events with an impressive range of clients from The Radio City Christmas Spectacular to Artist Andy Williams’ worldwide tours.
Ed formed Sandor Sound Services Group in 1998 and clients soon started commissioning the company to design and implement Audio and Video Systems, Theatrical Lighting Systems, Staging and Scenic for Theaters, Amusement Parks, Public School Districts, Universities, Museums, Architectural Firms, and Houses of Worship.
Sandor AVL Systems is often quoted in industry trade publications and has appeared in Pro Sound News and other trade magazines. He is also the recipient of the Branson All American Entertainment Award.
Today, Ed and his children Aimee and Stephan are looking to build an even bigger, brighter, and more spectacular service for their existing clients.

Founder & CEO
Ed has a passion for what he does. Since a young adult he has immersed himself in the world of audio, visual, lighting, and stage production and design. With his many facets of skills and experience he has formed one of the most renown companies in the Midwest for exactly what he loves to do.
Vice President of Operations
Aimee has over 10 years’ experience in the corporate world of human resources, marketing, and business development. She has worked for global companies in the beer, banking, and construction industry. Although free beer was a great perk in a previous career, Aimee is passionate about participating in the family business, and getting back to her roots of loving music and the people that make it! She contributes problem solving skills and an ability to create a modern path forward. Her many years in customer service will create a positive customer experience. Other passions that keep Aimee busy are her children, love for camping, hiking, and anything outdoorsy!
Installation, Design, and Sales Consultant
Stephan has been born and raised in the industry of design and production. From an early age Stephan has trailed the coat tails of his father to learn, build, and continue the legacy in the industry. Spending a lot of his childhood and adult life in theaters and recording studios, he has a natural inclination for the industry.
